In December 2025, at the research campus of the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the SIM‑MAX HPGe1620 Series Anti‑Compton & Anti‑Cosmic‑Ray Ultra‑Low‑Background HPGe Gamma‑ray Spectrometer and Kr85SPU‑A Krypton Concentration Unit were formally delivered to the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics after rigorous factory acceptance tests and precision transportation. The equipment will support the research efforts of key major projects including China’s Thorium Molten Salt Reactor (TMSR).
