The SIM-MAX iHFC Hand and Foot Surface Contamination Monitor (hereinafter referred to as the monitoring system) is mainly used for safety monitoring of personnel in radioactive areas such as nuclear medicine departments, radiopharmaceutical plants, and irradiation centers. It focuses on detecting radioactive contamination on key areas such as the hands and feet. When the detection of alpha and beta rays exceeding the threshold on key areas of the hands and feet, the instrument issues an alarm and indicates the degree of contamination, ensuring that personnel leave the area uncontaminated.
